The shallow and fragile landscape of the Venetian Lagoon is seen here from the top of the campanile on the island f Torcello. Ruskin, the nineteenth century English critic and author greatly admired this view which has remained almost unchanged fro centuries. This painting was selected for exhibtion at the annual exhibition of the Royal Society of Marine Artists in 2018.
