Oil Painting Live –Wednesday, Hitchin Rugby CLub 1-3.45pm 12 weeks
Please bring your oils paints and a prepared board/canvas for each project. I have suggested a size below or you can choose your size.
The timetable is flexible unless stated below. Feel free to bring you own paintings to make if you prefer.
Project 1 Sunset Expression OR Landscape Expression ONE WEEK (22 April)
Working in this modernist style.
Work fairly small
PREPARATION A THIN LAYER of Dark Green or Brown (mix a little black in it). It MUST BE DRY
Project 2 Square Project ONE WEEK 29 April
PREPARATION Rule out 17 x 17 squares on your panel. Any size. You will need Black and White paint only
Project 3 Small Still Life ONE WEEK 06 June
No bigger than 8'' x 8''
Project 4 Face in Red Colouring (a few weeks)
PREPARATION. A PINK GROUND ON YOUR PANEL. Any size. IMAGE ABOVE
Project 5 Richard's Technical Challenge ( a few weeks)
PREPARATION A thin Blue-Grey from the top, halfway down change to thin Yellow Ochre. MUST BE DRY. Any size
Project 6 Street Scene India
PREPARATION A mid tone Mauve Grey. Must be dry. Any Size
