This week we are exploring perspetive from three points of view. A little theory then tryng to draw - but not getting too involved in the theory and just identifying what is happening as we look.

A complicated architectural subject. This project looks at working a structure as a whole thing without getting too focused on individual features, the importance of understanding contruction lines in a drawing and the value of shading to find three dimensions. Pencils and paper are all that is needed here!

Using pen, pencil, coloured pencil and watercolour wash design a pattern of pumpkins. Then build up a textured background followed by a black ink wash to reveal the fruits.

Draw some marbles using graphite of different grades to represent the tonal scaffolding. Next build up the coloured structure on top. Slow and steady layers of pencil work.

Use some soft pencils to develop this representation of some vessles. Use shading direction and a free form beginning to create the effect of solid and curved objects
